Mending

Darning
This technique is used to re-create fabric by weaving new threads over a hole. It is particularly effective for mending small holes or worn spots in knitted items, where a patch might feel bulky.
Process: Threads are woven horizontally and vertically over the hole to create a new, reinforced section of fabric.
Appearance: Darning can be done subtly with a matching thread to make the repair nearly invisible, or it can be a visible, decorative element using contrasting colors.
